Champion of Champions: our U18's have made it through to the final of Champion of Champions. They will be playing at 11.30am this Sunday 26th October at Valentine Park No 1. It would be great to see some club colours on the sidelines, if you can make it along.

FOOTBALL4ALL Gala Day: Football NSW invites all special needs children and young people to join us for the inaugural FOOTBALL4ALL Gala Day. The Football4all Gala Day is an opportunity for children and young people with a disability who are currently registered with a Football NSW Special Needs program, club or association or an invited disability group to enjoy a wonderful day of football and activities with family and friends.

TIME: 9am to 3pm approx. Presentation to all players at conclusion.

SSG 2009 Development Info: A meeting was recently held at the GHFA with all clubs to review the SSG format that was implemented for Minis this season. Modifications to the format for 2009 were discussed and can be reviewed by clicking here.

Red Cards: If a player gets a red card, the coach or manger ONLY needs to identify from the ref AFTER the game what is the send off code. Once you have the code, you can identify from the penalty sheet if you wish to appeal the penalty. If you do, you need to attend the GHFA P&D committee the Tuesday following the offense from 7:30pm and send a report to the president of WPHC club. NB:A red card is an automatic 1 match suspension that you CANNOT appeal.

Status of Games June 14-15: Most grounds are open for play this weekend. However, a few grounds have been affected and those games, including some WPH teams, have bee rescheduled as a result. However, a number of grounds have been closed for the entire weekend and these games will be rescheduled at a later date. Rescheduled Games: The Washed out Round 3 has been rescheduled for 12/13 July. So all games scheduled for 19/20 April will be played as per the original draw except for the following –

Minis ands Special Needs Season start date changed: The season start date for Minis and Special Needs has changed. They will both commence on 5th April.   Players will play 2 weeks and have a week off on 19 April (the middle week of the school holidays).

Premier League Draw 2008: The draw for Premier League season 2008 has been released. Our team is at home (Campbell Park) on the first day, 29th March and will play Ravens. Reserves kick-off at 1:15pm and first grade 3:15pm. To see the full draw, click here..
